Registration for the 2006-2007 season is only one week away. It will be on Thursday September 7th and Saturday 9th on the 2nd level of the Rockland arena. Check our registration page for more info.

News Box and Blog

This year we are doing things a bit differently with regards to the news box and weblog (blog). In the past the news box on our website was manually modified by me (Sher-Khan) when ever I deemed necessary there be some important news to convey. The group page as well as each section (beavers, cubs, scouts) had a news box. The Blog was shared among the whole group and was mainly to share our experiences. This year each section will have their own blog where leaders can still share their experiences but also post important information like camp reminders or the famous line: "Please bring your popcorn money in..." :o) The news box in each section is now tied to the respective blogs. For a quick blurb all you need to do is look at the news box, for more detailed info, click on the news link and it will open the full article in the blog.

Cubs - New Season

Hi everyone,

Well we're back ... almost. I'm just posting a quick blurb here but the new scouting season is just over the horizon.

Registration is coming up on September 7th and 9th (I'm doing this during my lunch break at work so don't quote me on the dates just yet ... keep checking the group calendar).

The cub year promises to be another great year. In September we'll have registration, a whole group meeting at Tucker House, the 1st cub meeting, a fall cuberee and I think "Apple Day".

In October we'll have a car wash and bake sale, a hike, Halloween and a few other things I can't remember right now.
