Beavers - Cosmic Sleepover

This past weekend we had a sleepover at Cosmic Adventures ( website ). Why they call it a sleepover I'll never now ... sleep yeah right !!! ;o)

All in all the kids had tons of fun. Where else can you have 31 kids run, jump and scream without going crazy. We actually had 31 kids, 17 adults.

They have a really good program: evening snack, craft, movie, breakfast in the morning and a couple of games. The best part is that they actually ask us what WE want to do and how WE want to run our schedule. To give you an idea, this is how it went:

• snack @ 8pm
• craft @ 8:30pm (bird feeder)
• movie @ 10pm (Shark Tales)
• lights out @ 12:00
• breakfast @ 8am

In between they had free play, played "birthday" hat tag, had a scavenger hunt. The schedule is not written in rock either we can change things on the fly.

The adults seem to enjoy themselves as well. They (the 2 monitors) opened the cantine around 10pm when the children were watching the movie and cooked/prepared whatever we wanted. Hawkeye I think ate 2 large pizzas we had to stop him ... just joking.

I think for the price it ( a total of approx. $1000.00 ) was worth it. Take a look at some pics
